Visiting En-Gedi near Dead Sea (1 November, 2008)

Its quite a long time since I updated my blog. Blaim me as I damaged my camera and looks like it will take more time to fix that. It all happened during my trip to the En-Gedi National Park near Dead Sea. Here are few photographs taken during that trip. Rest will happen if my dear camera makes a healthy return!!!

En-Gedi is the largest oasis located west of the Dead Sea rich with springs and caves. Mentioned several times in bible, En-Gedi is renowned for the cave where David hid from Saul (I Samuel 24:1). The fertility of En-Gedi with its vineyards were mentioned by Solomon in his famous book of Song of Songs (1:14).

I will update more details soon..
