Also known as the church of Yelizavetta Fyodorovna, the Russian princess who became a nun. This church is built around a rock that legend says was used as a pulpit by John. The church is located inside the area of the Russian monastery called Moskkubia (Al Moskovoia). The 5-onion-dome structure started construction in 1905 and completed only in 2005. Due to hers and her family's assassination in 1917, it took almost 100 years to complete the church's construction. (see more in www. biblewalks.com)
